Urging our nation's leaders to end hunger

Orlando, Florida, Offering of Letters Workshop
St. Luke's United Methodist Church

Each year Bread for the World invites churches and groups across the country to write personal letters and emails to their members of Congress on issues that are important to hungry and poor people. These letters send a powerful message to our country’s political leaders and help us as a nation move closer to our goal of ending hunger.

This year, Bread for the World advocates across the country will urge Congress and the administration to protect programs most vital to hungry people in the United States and abroad from cuts in the name of deficit reduction. We have a lot of work to do to convince Congress not to balance the budget on the backs of those who are most needy.

This meeting will give you all the information and resources you need to be part of this campaign and to get your church, campus, local group, or community involved, too.

Come join us and get energized to make a difference!

This workshop is FREE and open to the public.

Please RSVP (or contact us if you have any questions) by emailing jfraser@bread.org or calling 202-688-1109. We hope to see you there!
