Urging our nation's leaders to end hunger

Syracuse, NY Offering of Letters Workshop
Pitcher Hill Community Church, North Syracuse

Dear Friends in Central New York,

Please join us for a Bread for the World Advocacy Workshop in Syracuse on Thursday, March 14, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Details are on this page. Sign up today!

This year, Bread for the World's Offering of Letters campaign will ask President Obama and Congress to set a goal and establish a plan to end hunger in the United States and abroad. We will also ask Congress to ensure adequate funding for programs that address hunger and poverty.

During this free workshop we will use multimedia and interactive exercises to develop plans to convince our leaders that everyone deserves adequate and nutritious food. The workshop in North Syracuse will give you tools for organizing a group to write effective letters. You’ll go home prepared to share the Offering of Letters in your church, campus, or community!

You'll also get a chance to meet your new Bread regional organizer, Larry Hollar. who grew up in Central New York.

Please register using the RSVP button on this page. For questions, contact Larry Hollar at lhollar@bread.org or 937-361-6622.
