Urging our nation's leaders to end hunger

Northern New Jersey Offering of Letters Workshop
Seton Hall University, University Center, Chancellors Suite

Please join us for a Bread for the World Advocacy Workshop in South Orange on Saturday, March 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Details are on this page. Sign up today!

This year, Bread for the World's Offering of Letters campaign will ask President Obama and Congress to set a goal and establish a plan to end hunger in the United States and abroad. We will also ask Congress to ensure adequate funding for programs that address hunger and poverty.

During this $5 workshop we will enjoy breakfast together and use multimedia and interactive exercises to develop plans to convince our leaders that everyone deserves adequate and nutritious food. The workshop will give you tools for organizing a group to write effective letters. Led by local activists, a Bread Government Relations analyst and your regional organizer, you’ll go home prepared to share the Offering of Letters in your church, campus, or community!

Parking is available: stop at the security desk for Guest Parking Permit, map & instructions. The University will be on Spring Break.

To RSVP contact (973)-497-4341 or grafftim@rcan.org with your name, email, address and community or church you represent (if any).
