Atlanta, GA Offering of Letters Meeting
|
This year, Bread for the World advocates across the country are urging Congress and the administration to protect programs vital to hungry people in the United States and abroad from cuts in the name of deficit reduction. We still have a lot of work to do to convince Congress not to balance the budget on the backs of those who are most needy.
At this informal workshop, we'll discuss this year's campaign and provide resources to get your community involved. We'll provide an update on the campaign and there will be time for sharing, questions, and answers. We'll also take time to write letters to our members of Congress.
Come join us, meet your Bread regional organizer Jen Fraser, and get energized to make a difference!
This meeting is free and open to the public. Please RSVP (or contact us if you have any questions) by emailing jfraser@bread.org or calling (404) 806-1387. Please invite others who might be interested.
